Christmas Greetings - 2012 from
Gerald & Lorna Malmrose
Family Update 2012:
During this year of 2012, we have been busy as can be. We moved into our retirement home and have settled in quite nicely. One of the best things about being here is, it is next door to Amber and her family.
Gerald was called as ward mission leader in the Happy Valley Ward and Lorna was called as a ward missionary to teach the Gospel Essentials class in Sunday School. We have spent many hours serving the wonderful people in this area. We have really enjoyed working with our full time missionary couple, the Sorensens, and a number of sister and elder missionaries. We have seen lives changed for the better as a number of people embraced the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We have had family come to visit us and we have been able to go visit some of those who don’t live close. All in all, this has been a good year for us, and we recognize and acknowledge how the Lord has blessed our life day by day.
Lorna's Christmas Poem
Where does all the valuable time go?
That’s what we really want to know.
It seems that life flies just too fast.
Before we know it, it is already past.
Nevertheless, life for us is really good.
We still love each other, as we should.
Our family and friends are wonderful still.
But we miss seeing them at will.
We know our love for them remains,
Year after year it stays the same.
The Gospel and Church are firm as can be.
We’ll love our Savior for Eternity.
So, though the world in crisis may seem,
All is well, we’re on the right team.
